Museum of history - Totem Pole

Free Admission

​*Admission is free on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., but a timed ticket is required — book yours online as early as Monday of the week you would like to visit.

The Canadian Museum of History also offers free admission to:

  • Indigenous peoples, including First Nations, Inuit and Métis

  • Canoo members (formerly Cultural Access Pass)

Fantastic display of the culture and beliefs of the first peoples of Canada’s Pacific Ocean. Discover iconic native houses and magnificent totem poles. Great exhibitions: First Peoples of the Northwest Coast, and From Immemorial – Tsimshian Prehistoric. Firmly rooted culture in history, but continues to thrive and evolve in the 21st century.
